“Another piece from the Jelly of the Month. Spider-Man was done for the “draw a character from the Marvel Universe” month.

I’ve always loved Spider-Man, ever since I first started reading comic books. I even read reprints from his early mid-60’s appearances. I just loved them. Something about being a nerd by day but a web-slinging adventurer by night really struck a chord with me. Although I never really could imagine myself web swinging around the streets of Portland, Maine. Someone would need to make the buildings higher than four stories before any of that would be happening.

So, I’ve always loved drawing Spidey. And you can never just draw him standing around. Part of the fun is to see what kind of wacky position you can put him into while spinning webbing all around him."
