“Snowboarding is one of Colorado’s major tourist attractions. Luckily for me, in the middle of drawing this book, we got our first major snow storm of the season. I ran out the next day, taking tons of shots to digitally piece together for this background piece. I said a silent prayer of thanks for sending me some snow to use for my cover.

But, I wasn’t so happy when three months later, after yet another flurry of major snowstorms, we were still covered in snow after one of our worst winters in a long time.”
