“This book in the Stone Arch Books run featured midget racing and a lot of the illustrations in the book involved me drawing the cars. I went into the computer and actually built myself a three dimensional model I could move a virtual camera around so I could see the car from any angle. Once I did the thumbnails for the book and got the client’s approval it was easy enough to build a wire-frame of each piece in the computer so I had some great reference to draw each scene from.”
