“I had been listening to and reading a lot about Nirvana and Kurt Cobain when I came up with this picture. Those classic shots of Mr. Cobain with those large white framed sunglasses always appealed to me so I set out to put the whole OilCan Drive gang in similar shades. In the end, I turned the basic dark frames of the glasses red for a bit of that sci-fi feel. And, when doing the background I had an idea to make it look like the art was actually drawn on a concrete wall. Just playing around and seeing what I can come up with I guess.”
