“The Jelly of the Month project was a blog that featured a variety of professional artists. Every month there would be a simple assignment and everyone would submit a piece. The month I did Indiana Jones was the month the task was “draw your favorite childhood hero.”

How could a ten year old boy not be a huge fan of the whip wielding, bare knuckle brawling, adventuring archaeologist?

Another friend on the site did a piece of Han Solo. If anyone had drawn Decker from Blade Runner or Jack Ryan from the Tom Clancy series they might as well have changed the assignment that month from “favorite hero” to “draw your favorite Harrison Ford character.”
