“I was contacted by The Geppetto Group to submit a few redesigns for Willy Wonka. After dozens of sketches and samples we finally came up with the idea of Willy being sort of a candy magician, able to create tasty treats for all the kids out there with a wave of his cane.

I was just really happy I could do an old school version of him rather than be forced to conform to the creepy Tim Burton/Johnny Depp character he became in the remake of the film.

Nothing beats the old Gene Wilder Willy!”
